I've got a generic disk that a friend who's into this kind of thing leant me, I had it booting on Virtualbox a couple of years ago but nothing worked at all. I think the DVD has degraded because when I try and boot it under virtualbox on my Linux system now it won't do anything unless I use the boot options platform=X86PC -v and even then it keeps giving me a "still waiting for root device" error around every minute until I shut it down.
Is there any practical way to get Tiger working with networking in these latter days? I'd so love a netbook running Tiger for note taking and casual browsing.
