First a little background: I mix/record/edit video for my church and then turn it into a weekly television show. We're squeaking by on a couple of MacBook Pro's now (using After Effects and Final Cut Pro) but I need to improve turnaround time and get rid of render errors. I've been given the green light to put something together that will increase our flexibility and provide some measure of future-proofing (they'd rather spend more now than spend a little now only to have to replace in a year). I've been reading up here and on tonymac and I think I've got a good setup, but I'd feel better if I could get some feedback.

Existing equipment is a Blackmagic ATEM TV Studio, Blackmagic Hyperdeck Shuttle, and a random Visio 24" TV I'm using for multi-view. This new machine will serve as a switcher for the ATEM unit as well as a backup capture device for the Hyperdeck.

Here's my proposed setup:

MoBo: GA-Z87X-UD7 TH

Processor: 4770K

Graphics: EVGA GTX760

RAM: 32GB Ballistix

System Drive: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB x3, one for system drive, other two in a RAID 0 array to serve as scratch disk

Power: Corsair 650W

Wireless: TPLink WDN4800

Video Capture: Blackmagic DeckLink

Cooling: Corsair H100

Storage: WD Green 4TB 5400 x2 for redundancy

Optical: Asus DVDRW 'cause, yeah, I still have to burn DVD's from time to time.

Thanks for taking the time.
