[Build Check] Gaming + design work + hackintosh for ~$2,500

Hey there!

So I've been putting together a build, intending to get a nice, all-purpose stationary rig. May I ask the respected experts of /r/hackintosh to check it out and let me know if you see any issues?

What am I looking for:

• Lots of gaming (I will be OCing and getting another 780ti eventually)


• Design stuff — heavy Photoshop and After Effects


• Dual booting Windows 8.1 and OS X with as little hassle as possible


• I need it to be as quiet as possible

A few specific questions:

1. I'm not sure about the motherboard. Anyone has experience with it?


2. Any opinions on that wifi/BT adapter? I liked that it's an all-in-one solution + it supports 802.11ac but haven't seen much info about its compatibility with OS X.


3. Is it true that Clover seems to be the preferred method with i4930K CPUs?


4. How much hassle with setting up OS X are you predicting, with these components?


5. How software-update-proof are hackintoshes these days?
