Essentially I've been using my Asrock Z77 Extreme6 board with an i5 3570k CPU and have just used HD4000 graphics. I've since wanted to add a graphics card (EVGA 650 Ti Boost). I've been going through trial and error with this trying to get it to work. I'm currently using a DSDT I patched using PJALM's patch repository, more info can be found in the tonymac post.
Every method I've tried so far generally ends with the same result: it can boot perfectly in safe mode (-x bf), however it will hang after sound assertions when I try to boot regularly. I've tried plenty of boot flags, none of which seem to help. Any feedback or help would be greatly appreciated.
