Forgive my lack of knowledge on the subject. I have not yet installed the Mac OS (will be using Mavericks) and I was wondering whether Hackintosh would be able to run a 5.1 home theater setup if I were to make the transition. This is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/shadowhitokiri/saved/3VlG
I bought the Monoprice Premium 5.1 home theater system and a Dennon AVR-1513 receiver. As of right now, I'm having difficulty even having my Windows 8 connect to the receiver to result in some sound output, so I worried whether Macs would support this function. Just wondering if it's possible and if there's a comparable method on Macs (detailed instructions would be best since I'm clueless here). Thank you all so much in advance for your insight and advice =)
