I did a fresh install of Mavericks this weekend. Everything went very well and I'm up and running. I was running 10.8.2 and instead of upgrading I wanted to do a clean install.
System:
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 MB
Core I7 3770K ivy bridge (only running at 3.5GHz but I'll figure that one out later)
32GB of 1333 ddr3 ram
Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD
Onboard USB 2.0 and 3.0 running
Some generic $2 Bluetooth usb dongle for extended range
EVGA GTX 470 1280MB
On board Broadcom 57765-B0 ethernet
27" Yamakasi 2560x1440 display
24" Dell 1920x1200 display
Cheap USB audio because they all work with 0 effort and tired of onboard sound issues.
Everything works great!
It boots in 8-12 seconds after chameleon countdown. It wakes from sleep in 2-4 seconds.
Used the myhack installer and legit copy of mavericks on a usb stick which installs mavericks and chameleon. booted with onboard video (GraphicsEnabler=No -v -x) and did kexts for ethernet. Did multibeast for usb/ssd trim/and a few other things. Switched video back to PCIE. Rebooted and was good to go. Clean, easy, and fast!
