This is my first reddit post so let's hope i don't make too much of a fool of myself.

So i'm looking at dual booting my current Windows PC with Mavericks or even just Mountain Lion but i'd like some input and maybe some advice, that'd be great.

To start off with,

My build:

Mother Board

* Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3

CPU

* Intel Core i5 4670k overclocked to 4.5GHz

GPU

* Gigabyte AMD R9 270 - Coreclock @ 1050MHz and Memoryclock @ 1500MHz

RAM

* 16GB of Team Group Zeus ram @ 1333MHz - capable of 1600MHz

Storage

* Seagate 120GB SSD - Windows OS

* Seagate 1TB SSHD Hybrid Drive - Storage

* Seagate 2TB SSHD Hybrid Drive - Possible Mac OS Drive

alright, i'm pretty sure that should help you guys with anything hardware wise you need to know.

I've heard that whilst installing OSX that my CPU Overclock can or i should say will cause problems with the installation... Should i just set my bios back to Defaults? and am i able to reapply the overclocks afterwards? The other thing is that i've also read a few articles that said or implied that my GPU isn't currently supported with the Mac OS. do i need to remove it from my Mobo or can i use it or just use the on-board mobo graphics? also as i no longer have a macbook pro anymore i was going to try and make the bootable OS USB via Virtual Machine, is there any really good tutoritals on that method anyone suggests?

Those the the only things i can think of at the moment but as i said before, if there's anything i have wrong or and suggestions, i'd appreciate the input.

Thanks.
