Note: This is my very first build, first computer, first time for everything anything related to putting a computer together and I decided that I wanted to go with a hackintosh with windows compatibility (dual boot). My first initial thoughts were something that can play games and was well within my budget. I've been browsing this site since that time trying to build up the courage to start, and decided why the hell not. This project is still in progress, but so far its gone pretty well. My plan is to have a dual boot drive to run Mac OS and Windows 7. I figured it would be helpful to start a thread to get some tips/advice from all you gurus or experienced users out there.

Install of mavericks wasn't too bad, followed a few build settings on here.
http://imgur.com/7HB8cJt Multibeast settings:
Are there any settings that I may be missing? I have a question regarding Customize > System Definitions > Mac Pro> Mac Pro 3,1. I couldve chosen other settings like Mac Pro 4, 1, 5, 1, etc. I followed another build, but would it be better to change this to a later version? Not too sure what this does? Can anyone chime in on which one would be most updated? or should I keep it at Mac Pro 3, 1?
Received this in error:
While continuing with the multi beast install, I got this error "kernel extension is not from an identfieid developer" The kernal extension at "/system/library/extensions/genericusbxhci.kext" is not from an identified developer but will still be loaded.
is this an error i should worry about? Not sure what it means either..can this be ignored?
Several questions... bare with me. Do I need to install anything for my graphics card now? I read a few builds that people install their graphics card after the OS install? Is there anything I need to configure or is it ready out of the box?
Since I am running a dual booth drive on my SSD, what is the normal route to go upon? Which route would be best?
1) Dual boot SSD drive (Mavericks/Windows 7) , 1TB HDD for Data/Storage 2) SSD for Mavericks Boot drive, 1TB HDD for Windows 7 Boot/Main data storage for Mavericks/Windows
Has anyone had the experience of doing this? I wanted to dual boot to run my games on a windows platform, while having the functionality of browsing/music/videos on the mavericks.
Last but not least, since I heard that WiFi does not work with this, is the only way to connect through ethernet? Can I just buy a card like this? TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900
Obviously, I have a lot of questions here... but any help would be greatly appreciated. As a reminder bare with me! It is my first time doing anything computer related and taking the courage to build it myself. I figured this is a good way to start and begin learning something new. Thanks everyone again for all your help and I hope to be on my way with using my Hackintosh very soon!
