Build Notes:
- ASRock X58 Extreme Mobo
- OS X 10.9 Mavericks
- Chimera boot loader (latest version)
- Easy install through Multibeast
- Realtek NIC driver chosen through Multibeast
The Problem:
After a successful OS install I go through the setup process and enter my iCloud information when prompted, however it returns an odd text error in the install window (mentioning a protocol issue). I ignore it and complete the setup, I then run through Multibeast and reboot. I then try to add my iCloud account and it just hangs while trying to sign in (just acts like it's loading with the spinning grey pin wheel). Same thing for iMessage. As a side note it seems that I can't add any "Internet Accounts", whenever I try to add an Exchange account it either freezes or the preference pane crashes.
My Background:
I have done hackintosh successfully before. I ran Snow Leopard and Lion for a long time with no issues (with this same box). As far as technical experience, I am a security specialist, network engineer, software developer, and I have a lot of experience with OS X, Linux, and Windows. So please if anyone has any tips on fixing this issue, no matter how dirty, I'll try it! I did try one of the tips from another guide (involving adding a NVRAM dylib into the modules folder) however that did nothing. This is now a fresh install that I need to get working.
