I'm not getting as much out of my GTX 660 Ti as I am with Windows, or even modern Linux distros like Ubuntu 14.04. Games are playable, but noticeably laggier, and this runs the gamut from games like Minecraft and The Sims to more intensive stuff like Counter Strike: GO, Garry's Mod, etc. Outside of that, animations are smooth, there's no vertical sync issues, etc.
I've been told to perhaps check out the CUDA drivers, but at face value, it seems like they're more utilized on an app-by-app basis, and wouldn't help for gaming.
