I've had my Hackintosh for about 6 months now. Over time managed to iron out various kinks until it was working fine.

Then lately, as in past week or two, it's started to freeze once in a while (I don't know if that's related to this issue, but thought I should mention it in case).

Last night iTunes notified me that there was an update and asked if I wanted to install it. I said yes, which took me to the update section of the App Store and asked if I wanted to install and restart (which Ive done before without problems) I said yes.

It seemed to be going well, I don't remember if it restarted or just logged me out, but it took me to the screen where it shows the installing update but then it froze. The bar no longer moved and my mouse cursor wouldn't move either. I waited for a little while but it still didn't change. So I forced a shut down and started it back up.

Now it gets stuck at the boot up during the Apple logo with the spinning circle underneath it. I've let it go for 20-30 minutes and it doesn't move past that, the circle just continues to spin.

How can I fix this?

If it helps here's a list of my parts:

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H - LGA-1150 Intel Core i5-4670k 3.4 GHZ Gigabyte GTX 760

Thank you for any help you can give.
