Hey guys. like I said this is my first ever build. I plan on building and installing Windows 7 first, then trying to do the hack. Any advice would be really appreciated, I'm not great with computers but I'm trying to learn.

I have an older computer my uncle built that I'm going to take the case from. It also has an optical drive, a 1 TB Hitachi HD (Not sure exact specs), and a 500W power supply. Would I be able to salvage any of these parts?
