I'm getting a kernel panic during the Apple logo portion of the boot while trying to install Mavericks. The progress spinner pops up for a couple seconds and then it panics saying:
"A freed zone element has been modified: expected 0xdeadbeefdeadbeef but found 0xdeadbeef88098809, bits changed 0x56a436e6... Etc. Etc.
Here's my build:
- Intel Core i5-4440 Haswell Quad-Core 3.1GHz
- GIGABYTE GA-B85M-D3H LGA 1150 Intel B85 Motherboard
- MSI GeForce GTX 760 4GB
- ADATA XPG 8GB DDR3 SDRAM 1600 (PC3 12800)
- Seagate Barracuda 1TB HD
I've tried several boot flags, but all of them result in this error.
If any other info is needed, I will supply it.
