I'm hoping to dual boot Mavericks and Windows 8.1 so I can edit videos with FCP/iMovie and Adobe products on the Mac side and get some gaming in on Windows 8.1.

I have an Alienware laptop (please, no hate) at the moment which I use for editing.

And as of right now the best software I have found is still FCP.

That is why I am doing this.

If you were wondering about the PSU, I need those extra watts if I want to get some SLI setup.

I was going to get the 350D because of its size, but the 450D has 5-6 drive bays (3.5) while the 350D only has 2. (1 more if you count the 5.25 bays)

Extra drives are a MUST for video editing as I have learned using a laptop for this (ugh)

I am trying to keep everything under $1500 with tax.

I think I'm good right now, I could save some money by taking a drive as I do not plan on putting Windows on right away.

EDIT:

Ok so I made a few changes, but is the performance difference worth that extra cash?
