The worst kind of problem is an inconsistant one.
Every now and again a normal boot will go through, but most of the time it gets stuck. No error messages, it just hangs. And the worst part of it is it hangs after different messages all the time. Most of the time it will be after a bluetooth message or an Ethernet message, but to me it doesn't seem to be a problem with either of these things specifically.
Booting with -f or -x will ALWAYS work, but it takes a while to load all the kexts so that's the downside.
I've tried updating the kext cache but it hasn't solved anything. I've tried most of the other popular boot flags and in different combinations but the only one I have seen to consistantly work is -f.
I installed with myhack because unibeast wouldn't recognize my sandisk USB.
