Whenever I attach an external hard drive, that's fine. Copying files to it, mostly OK. But whenever I eject an external drive my whole computer freezes, and it's very frustrating to have to restart every time I want to copy some files. Is there a way to fix this?

Another thing is that very randomly while rendering or exporting in Final cut Pro X the screen just turns black/grey/freezes. This is very worrying as i work on this daily and it sucks that it crashes whenever I export. Any ideas?
