I downloaded the Maverick.app from the app store(10.9.4) and made a Ubibeast USB, when I boot up I give it the flags, -v -f -x -PCIRootUID=1 -GraphicsEnabler -npci=0x3000, and it goes fine, then when an actual screen should pop up, it just goes black(i let it sit for 3 hours like that, nothing happened), im on a k25f intel ASUS laptop, with a 1TB SSD 500 for Windows 7, 500 for Maverick. I gave up on actually updating Maverick days ago. Any help is much appreciated.
