Hi all,
SO I finally received the parts for my Hackintosh. This is what I have:
- i5 4670
- 1x Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm
- 1x PNY 120GB SSD
- 2x4GB Gskill Ripjaws
- 1x EVGA GTX 760 Superclock
- Z87N-Wifi
All of this is powered by a Corsair CS450M.
However, I read in the gfx card papers that it requires a 500W PSU minimum. Pcpartpicker estimated the power needs of the setup at 313W and this PSU was on the list of the top PSUs on overclock.net
The gfx has 1x 8 pin and 1x 6 pin power connectors if that makes any difference.
Am I screwed? Do I need to return the PSU and get a 500W? What happens if you use PSU that's not powerful enough?
Thanks for your answers
