After successfully booting to OS X, I select the language and then go into Disk Utility. I select the partition I created in Windows 8 earlier (labeled 'Empty Space), and set the format to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and hit apply, but it just says 'Preparing to partition disk' forever. I am trying to dual boot with Windows 8/Mavericks. The 'Mavericks' partition I'm trying to create has over 300GB of space to it. I am using an edited mach_kernal because of a boot problem, if I use the default, it resets before OS X completes its boot. This is my first time trying to install OS X on a Windows machine, please help if you can! The guide I've been following: http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html
