Hi everybody, so I have to reinstall my OS's (Mavs/Win8.1) because I stupidly hit refresh PC in Win 8 and it changed my whole partition scheme to MBR (aaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh) So I figured I would try to finally understand how Clover and uefi work. I want the benefits of more stability, genuine serial numbers, recovery partition etc. I'm tired of calling Apple once a week to unblock my AppleID. So I've been reading a lot the last few weeks but I don't understand a few (probably basic) things. One is how my bios looks. Anyone know what's the discrepancy? Also, I've setup a Clover installer(via the createinstallmedia command and installing Clover to it), set it up for uefi booting, but when I open my boot options screen, the option to uefi boot my pen drive is not there. Again, uefi is enabled and secure boot is disabled. I really wanna have Clover on this Hack and I won't give up but I keep coming across the same articles/guides/videos so my eyes are now going cross and my brain is fried. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks
Edit: My Hardware is a stock Asus K53E laptop. I haven't swapped anything out
