First, the specs:
- i7 4790
- Gigabyte GA-H87M-HD3
- Onboard Graphics
- 128GB Samsung EVO SSD (GUID and HFS+ formatted through Disk Utility)
As soon as the Mavericks installation starts, I get a yellow exclamation mark and the message stated in the title. The install log tells me something about CoreServices missing and the OSInstall.mpkg file.
What I tried so far:
- Install using Unibeast method
- Install using MyHack method
- Install using MyHack method w/ MBR patch
- Tried a different USB-stick
- Tried installing Mountain Lion with MyHack (I just get a black screen with -v, without -v it hangs at the grey Apple screen)
UEFI settings should be fine. VD-T is disabled and AHCI activated.
Any ideas on what I could try next?
