I've been into this 'hackintoshing' about a couple years ago, not anymore. Learned the whole process, kexts and all that fancy jargon, and built 3 hackintoshes including a laptop (using the tonymacx86 guides only, but used other resources like insanelymac to learn about the process). But I did it because I wanted to use Final Cut Pro, and couldn't get an expensive Mac. Back then, there were people who built these things just for fun, or like me if they wanted to use some Mac-only programs (especially Xcode), or maybe because they thought these were cost efficient, compared to real Macs (true that). So that's the question: why do you hackintosh? Why did you build one?
