Hey guys,

I am new to hackintoshing and just did my first build but cannot decide on a CPU cooler to fit for the life of me. So far I have tried the Corsair H60 and the 105. Yes, I am overclocking and got it to around 4.6 on the H60 but temps were ridiculous in the 90s. The 105 wouldn't even fit on top of my case whatever I tried. Can anybody please recommend a great cooler ~<$100ish to keep my temps at 70-80 degrees C. Specs are below:

Case: Fractal Design Redefine R4 Blackout w/ window Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-z87x-UD5-TH Processor: Intel i7 4790K Graphics Card: EVGA 2GB GTX 770 Superclocked Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws 2133 MHz PSU: Had a Corsair CX 750 but upgrading

I would like a stable OC at around 4.7-4.8

  1. Is this possible?

  2. What CPU Cooler can I get to do this? Liquid or Air? For now I have my eyes on the Corsair H100i, Noctua Air cooler, and CM Hyper 212 Evo.

Thanks for your help!
