I have an SSD for my Windows boot. I have a HDD for my OS X boot.
Then, I have a HDD for storage. Would my data be okay if the storage HDD was shared between the two OSs?
It is a Western Digital drive and I read about some WD drives losing data when using Mavericks.
But more importantly, the storage drive is set as IDE, same as the Win boot drive. Would my AHCI OS X boot drive be able to share the data, or would it try to format it?
Asking before I connect it, jut to make sure.
