I recently moved to a new house, my hackintosh of course followed. since I have moved In I have been having very strange network connection issues:
I connect to my network (TWC with an ubee router) via TL-WDN4800 (moved to new PCI slot below the graphics card once these problems began).
Everything will work fine for about 15-20 minutes, then Ill lose my internet connection -- still connected to the wifi but no internet. If I run network diagnostics, it will reconnect to the internet midway through the diagnosis and work for another 10-15 minutes. I can do this 5 or 6 times, then the connection to the wifi drops, and when I try to reconnect it instantly says 'a connection timeout occurred' without actually trying to connect. after that it takes me 30 minutes of restarting, connecting to other networks, and resetting my Wifi to get back on the network only to repeat this infuriating process.
The problem Is clearly with the hackintosh, not the network (macbook, apple tv, iphone, xbox -- all connect without issue, and keep their connection.)
I would try connecting via Ethernet but a hard wire setup isn't possible in my house (only one cable hookup in the living room)
I haven't made any changes to my machine. All I did was unplug it at my old place, and carefully move it to my new place (It may have gotten a little hot in the car, but the machine is having no other problems so I doubt that's the issue).
OSX - 10.8.5
WIFI - TL-WDN4800
MB - GA-Z77X-UD5H
The network has been reset to factory defaults and all password/encryption security removed (thought that would help, it didn't)
I have looked everywhere online and have found nothing!!! I need to be able to upload files for my job, shuttling files to my macbook for upload is slowing me down so much its unbearbale. I don't know what to do!!
GOLD FOR WHOEVER SAVES ME!!!!
