hey there! iam running a virtual machine (osx 10.8) in vmware! vmware recognizes the devices and i can also disconnect every usb device from host, to guest but nothing happens! the strainge thing about it is this: my mouse and my keyboard are working, all adapters too but the usb stick (for some reason its called Mass Storage Device in vm) isnt recognized by the guest os - vm sees the usb stick but cant grab the storage name but i can (as mentioned) disconnect from host and this stuff but the stick doesnt appear! i tried extended journaled and fat32 as file-format
