Im using the latest version of unibeast to install Yosemite,got stuck at the apple logo with no loading bar then i got the installation to run by patching the kernel in terminal with:
sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x74\x11\x83\xF8\x3C|\x74\x11\x83\xF8\x3F|g' /Volumes/USB/System/Library/Kernels/kernel
and also using bootflags:
npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=No -x maxmem=4096 cpus=1
The install on my separate 2 TB Hard drive was successful. then when i reboot and choose the hard drive with Yosemite to finish the setup i get stuck at the grey apple logo with no loading bar,(When i boot in verbose mode after reading the hsf+ files it goes black screen so i can't isolate the problem) How can i get past this?
I've tried using the same boot flags, reinstalling the usb, and patching kernel in terminal with:
cp -R /Volumes/USB/System/Library/Kernels/kernel /Volumes/Yosemite/System/Library/Kernels/kernel
Specs: Asus X99-a Motherboard GTX 670 32GB Ram
