I am attempting to install OS X Mavericks on my laptop, which is an HP Pavilion DV7. It procceds to boot till it gets to this part and throws this error, making it get stuck at 'Still waiting for root device'
USBF: AppleUSBEHCI:: unable to get filterInterruptEventSource
I have tried all the recommended boot flags, such as '-f', 'npci=0x2000' and more. The laptop does not have UEFI and is running a BIOS. I am using Clover to boot. I don't think I can use USB 3.0 because when I tried, the boot manager menu didn't have the option to boot into 'EFI USB Device'. I should Also mention my BIOS doesn't seem to have an option to change the HDD to AHCI (I Still don't think that is the problem though as theres a USB error, nothing to do with the HDD)
Any Help will be GREATLY appreciated!
