The installer doesn't let me partition or format the cheap HDD I bought for the purpose of experimenting with Hackintoshing. It says "this drive has a hardware problem that can't be repaired". The thing is, I know all well it's not a perfect disk, but it still works and it was cheap enough I don't really care if it fails. Is there a way to install OSX on this drive or am I fucked and have to get yet another one?
