So I bit the bullet and decided to update to OS X 10.10.2, however i also backed up my current install on a seperate partition on my SSD to insure nothing would be lost in case anything ever went wrong. At first, after the normal reboot after installing the update, got a bit scared seeing as how the machine would halt at about halfway for the loading bar in yosemite boot screen now... finally, after like 5th boot of kernel flags, i tried safe mode, and i followed what the TonyMacx86 boys and InsanelyMac Geniuses said about the TRIM becoming deactivted after each update, and how i need to re-enable it. Did that with Multibeast, and reinstalled my Audio drivers as usual. (ALC887 chipset audio) [used ALC887/888 Current] BTW If you use Antipop like me to prevent the speaker pop, you do NOT need to enable it :) After the reinstall and installation, the system boots a tad faster now. The performance is better i notice, no more tiny graphical errors, everything seems to be fixe, about every wep page loads faster :D so no probs here

MY PARTS: - GA-Z97M-DS3H - Intel Core-i3 4360 with Intel HD4600 Graphics - Kingston 120GB SSD - Ultra Defender II White mATX Case - ThermalTake 550w PSU - HDMI connected HD TV 23.5" as a monitor

Hopefully this assures anyone else with similar worries that this update is not bad :3 Btw if you have no-external drive, do what i did to make an extra partition on the SSD. Use Disk Utility, make an extra partition (GPT (GUID Partition Table) Drives can only do this while in session, i believe MBR (MasterBootRecord) Drives require you to not have the drive in session, not sure. Use CarbonCopyCloner to select the extra partition and press clone. I did this with the trial version i have.
