I'm still in the process of getting my system up on its feet, but it's now my daily driver!
I mostly followed this guide, which installs with UniBeast and then uses Clover.
Sound currently does not work. My first attempt to use the RealALC and/or the CloverALC code did not yield positive results, though I will try again.
The Bluetooth kext I found at Rampage Dev worked once and then borked the install on all subsequent boots until I removed it. *shrugs*
The onboard WiFi works right out of the box.
The system seems to sleep and wake just fine, though I have not tested this extensively (this is my third hackintosh and the first one that might actually have proper sleep / wake)!
I have an LG 1080p TV and a Dell P2715Q UHD monitor connected to it. Oddly, if I have both plugged in when I boot, the system reboots as soon as it would normally show the login prompt. I can boot with just the 4K monitor plugged in and then plug in the TV once the system is booted up and it's fine. I'm still experimenting with possible fixes.
Also, if I plug the USB hub on the Dell into the computer after it's been booted and then power cycle the monitor, that seems to cause the system to reboot. Very weird, but not likely to occur day-to-day.
I have a crap-ton of hard drives to plug into this. I don't think my motherboard is bad, but the way SATA is handled might be...odd...compared to my last computer (AsRock P55 Extreme) where it didn't seem to matter what drive was plugged in where...on my X99, certain ports do not seem to support hot-swapping, and I haven't been able to get my computer to mount a drive from my eSATA dock without the drive first being in the computer on startup (even with hot swapping turned on). I'm still experimenting here (I'm going to go back and carefully plan out which drives go to what port instead of just plugging them in anywhere, which is their current configuration), but if anyone has any insight, please feel free to share.
