So I finally made the switch to clover when going to 10.10 (as well as HDD to SDD). And then I battled with the nVida web driver, but eventually got that working. Modified AppleHDA for ac892 no problem.
Can't for the life of me get HDMI audio working. I can't seem to make heads or tails of toleda/audio_CloverHDMI/readme.txt. It seems to only be for Intel HDMI, but all the nVidia guides seem to point to it and say setup Intel HDMI and nVidia will follow. Well, it hasn't, and I sure the real reason is because they're is something I haven't done, that is probably obvious to the developers and right in front of me, but I'm just not seeing it. That or all the guides for 10.10 Clover HDMI audio are worthless shit that teach you nothing.
I've also tired this guy's method. Didn't work, with or without DDST. Which was annoying, what with the endless thread of success stories. Especially they guy with the same gpu as me -_-
Hopefully someone can figure out what I've done wrong, am not doing, or send me in the direction of real how to. I've given up on Google.
