This is my PC: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Stormer97/saved/6QPFf7

It was not built to be a hackintosh (I'm running archlinux at the moment), but it looks compatible from my research, and I would really like to use a UNIX with some decent 3rd party software support. Besides, I am considering purchasing a macbook, so I would like to try OSX before I make such a large investment.

I tried to create a multibeast USB drive using this guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/143976-unibeast-install-os-x-yosemite-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html (usb was passed-through to a copy of Niresh Mavericks running in virtualbox)

Naturally, my box is affected by the haswell power management bug, so it simply boot looped, which is what I expected. Therefore, I followed this guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-laptop-support/147567-guide-patching-kernel-haswell-cpus-xcpm-early-reboot.html inside the aforementioned VM. It did not complain of any errors, but still fails to boot. I can provide a video of the boot process (in verbose mode, naturally).

If anyone could provide some advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Maybe someone who has a working multibeast USB for Haswell could send me an image of it?
