I appear to have hit a wall with my installation. I have looked at a plethora of guides and general advice and as far as I'm aware I have everything set up properly. Secure boot is off, loaded OS defaults, VT-d off etc. I have tried going into the boot menu upon start up, and my USB appears, but upon selecting it, I get a black screen. I have also tried booting into a Clover USB to select the Yosemite USB and this produces the same results. I know the install on the USB works because it worked on my PC (typing from my PC Hackintosh now).
I even tried burning the .iso onto an 8GB DVD, and this appeared to work (it got to the bootloader), but if I enter -v and -x as my boot args it starts loading resources from the disc then after a short while it just suddenly restarts. I am beyond confused.
I am willing to accept defeat if it simply cannot be done, but if I have made any glaring errors some help would be greatly appreciated.
