Alright, so I've talked with the moderators, and we've come to the conclusion that it'd be in the best interest of this subreddit if we dedicate a weekly post to ask if your build will run as a hackintosh. This should clean up the subreddit a little bit and allow posts with actual questions to be on the front page. So here's the format for your "will it work" post:
- Processor: [Intel/AMD] [Model Name]
- Motherboard: [Full Model Name, including Manufacturer]
- GPU: [Nvidia/AMD] [Model Name]
- Hard Drive Setup: [Dual boot? If so two drives for both OSes? Or all OSes on one?]
- Version: [Version of OSX you're installing]
This post will be re-posted weekly so that new builds will show up at the top of the list. If you have any suggestions to make this post better, PM me and we'll work something out!
There will be a new rule in effect where any posts about whether your system will run hackintosh OS or not will be removed, and you will be asked to post it in this thread instead. Thank you for understanding.
