I have VoodooHDA sound on Mavericks 10.9.5 at present, and it is "passable" at best. I would love to get my ALC888S on my Acer Veriton M680G working like my other 892 and 269(laptop). There are some kexts out there, but don't think they work. Need HDAEnabler1.kext too I think (LayoutID=1 -- 3 ports). DSDT-FREE and Clover-FREE, so DSDT fixes/Clover fixes aren't for me. Patching a clean AppleHDA.kext is an option - but is almost too difficult for me.
Any help or advice or links etc. greatly appreciated.
