I have my old trusty Pismo Powerbook sitting in a drawer. I have had the idea of using the case and stuffing it with new components. Has anyone ever done this? Is there a motherboard would fit inside the case? It looks like internal case height would be the primary physical constraint. A goal would be to keep the original keyboard and trackpad. I know that there are less expensive ways to build a new computer but using the old Pismo case to house a new machine would be a fun project. What does the group think? Is this possible?
