Current situation: One the apple logo loading screen, it now sometimes freezes and I get a kernel panic message, which - after doing some seraching - Im pretty certain is identical or almost identical to this one: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks-desktop-support/127631-kernel-panic-cant-even-install-10-9-2-first-build.html
Sometimes it gets pass the apple logo loading screen and loads into the user, but the screen is flashing/blinking, shifting rapidly between displaying the desktop and windows that I last had up, and a total black screen. In between the black "blinks", i can do stuff but shortly after I get thrown out of what im doing by another blink...
What I didSo let me just sum up what I did. It didnt really happen randomly, I did a couple of things, where one of them in hindight was especially stupid: I removed the system fonts folder to another location, which means when I boot up there is no text at all, and its impossible to do anything at all.
The other thing I did which Im not sure caused any problem but I do expect it did: Typed in some terminal commands from an article, seemingly harmless stuff, it was called "how to make yosemite less annoying" or something like that, and it was just commands for fontsmoothing, enabling some tiny practical features that had been left out of yosemite etc.
What Ive done so far to try fixing it: The first thing I wanted to do is to fix the font problem. I booted into my windows-drive(which i am currently writing from), and installed a program that lets youread/write from hfs+ drives. I then dug into the yosemite drive from windows and placed back the font folder where it belongs, in the system location. At this point Im trying to but up into yosemite again, now text are seemingly displaying as it should, but the blinking is still there and I cant really do shit. The last 2-3 tries I havent even got pass the apple loading screen, well I have, but its just the white screen inbewteen the loading screen and the desktop showing up, and it just freezes there.
This got a bit long, Im sorry but I tried to explain the best I could. I really appreciate if anyone has taken their time to read this!
