First off, my relevant specs:

  • CPU: Intel i5-3470 3.2GHz

  • Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H (Rev 1.0)

  • As of now, latest version of Clover

Every so often (like, 1 in 3 reboots), my iCloud will "deactivate", meaning it will ask for my password upon login. When I login, Apple sends me an email as if I was activating a whole new machine. I haven't touched anything in Clover since I applied the new SMBIOS workaround for iMessage.

I already have a theory as to why this is happening: I have OsxAptioFixDrv2 installed, which introduces native NVRAM for some boards. I usually switch the PSU off so my mouse light turns off; would this wipe the NVRAM and thus make it as though it was a new machine? Note that this has occurred during normal reboots as well.

This is how my account got "banned" back when Apple was blacklisting iCloud accounts associated with Hackintoshes, and I would like to prevent that from happening again.

Thanks for your help!
