So I've got it installed and working pretty well, but the video's not up to par, since the crappy on-board video is, well, crappy.

I'm looking for a video card that will work in the system. Does anybody have some suggestions for something that will fit my needs?

What I need:

  1. Must be a low-profile card. There's NO room in this case for a full-height card.

  2. Must be able to run two displays. I don't care if one is DVI and the other VGA, but I need both to work. I've read that OSX Yosemite doesn't like VGA. Is this a concern?

  3. Should be cheap-ish. This computer is only being used for development. I'm not playing games on it or doing graphics work. I don't care about the card being particularly powerful so long as it actually works and can handle OSX's sexy moves. However, if a more expensive card will fit the task better, I'm open to dropping some coin on it.

I was looking at a ZOTAC Synergy Edition ZT-60601-10L GeForce GT 610 2GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500259&cm_re=zotac-_-14-500-259-_-Product) but I don't want to pop $50 on a card that may or may not work.

Does anybody have any experience with this or another card that can help me out? I'd greatly appreciate any help I could get with this.
