So, I'm trying to help my brother build a hackintosh. For all the parts I basically copied tony mac's mac pro build. However he's worried he'll run into a bunch of technical difficulties. And if he does there's no technical support from Apple or whatever. He's considering just buying an iMac out of ease. I've been trying to convince him to go with hackintosh as it's a much better bang for the buck. I built my own custom gaming PC a few years ago so I have experience with picking out parts and setting them up. How hard is it to actually do this and will it be stable if done correctly? Convince my brother to go hackintosh. Also if it makes any difference I've set up linux on my computer and manually installed the drivers. He will use the computer for music production (Pro Tools). Thanks.
