I think the memory went on my Asus R9 270. Minecraft of all games, immediate and deadly black screen. From then on in, every time I tryed to install GFX drivers (Omega & 14.9's) on a fresh install of Windows 8.1 (64bit) PC would freeze/black screen with some corrupted lines.
Some sort of Memory prob?
My PC is very basic with plenty cooling, 1 SATA HD, onboard sound. A no fuss setup.
Stuck in old 8500 GT PC and Windows completly fine.
Looking to go nVidia, mainly due to driver support, Dx12, plus I fancy a wee change. Its been a long long long time, since my GeForce 3.
A GTX960 seems a nice way to go, alongside my AMD FX 6300 amd 8GDDR3 Ram. I hope this puppy will push out all my BF 4, BF Hardline and F1 2014 graphic goodness, and this year F1 2015, Battlefront and GTA.
And Aria have been superb.
