I want to update my graphics card for editing with Premiere/After Effects, and can't decide between getting a 770 or the ~£100 more expensive 970.. I was about to go for the 970 then saw this:

which although being quite PC centric seems to imply without a 6 core processor and 32GB of ram, there is no point in getting anything more powerful than a 660.
I have an i7 and 16GB - will I see any difference between 970 and 770?
