Hi guys!

I'm fairly new to Hackintosh and haven't used it since 10.5. I managed to get my machine to run 10.9 smoothly with just a few minor problems along the way.

The only thing i haven't got working is the internal sound card (Realtek ALC889) would love to get it to work though.

Setup: *Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3

*CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition 3.7Ghz

*RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 32GB CL10

*GFX: XFX Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5

I had problems with my Wireless Logitech G930 headset, the sound was crackling and glitching but found a solution to that. I downloaded and installed the AppleUSBAudio.kext from OSX 10.8.4, Cleared the system cache for kext files, changed format in Audio MIDI Setup to 48000.0kHz and the problem was gone.

Do you have questions regarding the installation procedure or drivers I'll happily answer if I can.

If someone knows how to fix the Realtek ALC889 sound problem (glitching and crackling) I would be VERY happy :)
