So I'm not super knowledgeable about this stuff, and I've been scared off by all the bad reviews of updates in the past. Because of that, I'm still using the original version my computer came with a few years ago. I want to upgrade finally. I'm looking for any advice regarding how to update, what to look out for, and/or any other tips. No tip is too obvious. I know people say there are issues, but I don't want to wait until there's a new update with new problems.
