one of my MSI HD7950,s is annoyingly loud and ive tried everything to sort this including removing a problem diode which didnt work ... and it appeared i have one of the very few cards which run at 100% all the time with no workable fix
however ive managed to find a 4pin mini gpu connector to 4pin connector ( http://ift.tt/1zfDaUu... ) and then used a 4pin to 3pin fan adapter to connect to any spare fan headers on the mobo ( i could also use my fan controller but i want a steady speed )
can you see any problems running a MSI HD7950 ( twin frozr ) using this method .... and if so then what fan header would be better ( motherboard or fan controller )
any help is much appreciated
