Hi everyone.
I know this is looked down upon somewhat, but I'm making an AMD Hackintosh. I never intended on this computer being a Hackintosh, just decided to try it. Even worse, it's on an ASUS motherboard. I have gotten pretty far though. I've made it to the bootloader, and even to a hang point. I just have no idea what to do from here. I've been following this guide with this kext and kernel set with no DSDT. Could the DSDT be my problem? I have access to a Macbook Pro for downloading retail.
Just so people know this, this computer can run OS X at least through Niresh. I managed to get Niresh 10.9 working a while back, but I don't like pirated software so I took it off.
Originally when I just tried to boot with -v npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=No I got to an error on USB Audio not being recognized or something. I could recreate the error if necessary. I got past that just by adding boot flags. I'm now using -v -f -cpufamily npci=0x2000 USBBusFix=Yes cpus=1 PCIRootUID=1. I've tried others and more than that but it still doesn't work.
I've gotten to a kernel panic leading to System Uptime in Nanoseconds every time I try to boot the install media. The specific panic is Invalid Kernel Opcode. If there needs to be more specifics I can provide a screenshot.
For specs, I have a Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0, AMD FX-8320. Graphics is an EVGA GTX 760.
