Getting pissed off here... Spent the entire day attempting to install Yosemite on my new laptop. I've tried all sorts of boot flags and commands. Results are the same: system boots up and flashes the apple logo for a split second, then simply reboots with no error message.
I've tried -v -x -f -s graphicsenabler, hpet, usbbusfix, etc... Pretty much most of the more common commands. If I boot into verbose mode, the usual wall of text appears, showing what's loading, but right before the reboot occurs everything zips by so fast I can't even take a pic of the last screen images. As far as I can tell though, no error appears.
I come from snow leopard a few years back, on an older laptop, and even my HTPC, but then I stopped messing with this stuff. Was kind of hoping to install on my new laptop for work. I have an Acer aspire switch 11. I5 4202y processor, 4gb Ram, Intel graphics HD 4000, m.2 sata ssd. Maybe my hardware just isn't compatible?
Any help would be appreciated. So far I tried clover and yosemite-zone. I'm stumped
