This is my first attempt at a Hackintosh and I gotta say. It's equally fun and frustrating. I got my GTX 970 to finally agree with Yosemite and everything else is operating perfectly except for one thing, the audio. I got the audio devices to appear but I cannot get any output. After giving up, I boot into Windows and neither my Windows 8 that is on the same hard drive as Yosemite nor a copy of Windows 7 on a separate drive have sound. The driver is installed perfectly into all three OS's but no sounds will come out. The HDMI sound out on Windows works fine but I want to be able to play through my speakers.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z87x-UD3H and I running the F10 firmware
