So I'm about to build a custom PC to succeed my mid 2010 macbook pro with Yosemite, and I'm considering dual booting Mac and Windows.
I have done a fair bit of changes to the macbook over the years and most recently I replaced the HDD with an SSD and removed the optical drive to store a bigger HDD.
As I won't have any use for the laptop anymore, will I be able to simply take the SSD out and add it to one of the bays in my custom PC to run Mac OS on that drive?
